At this rate it wont be until next year that Australian retailers have sapphire vaporx/toxic r9 280s in stock.

Or I could just jump the gun and get an r9 290

Pulled the trigger on a 270x devil edition. Here's hoping my return to AMD is met with good performance. Any idea on when mantle should be out?

Also will a phenom I I x 4 at 4ghz have any trouble feeding this GPU?

So the gigabyte isnt a good brand to buy?

i've just tested the temp at 100% fan, to compare the wf performance of 2 revs

Its not a real load. Furmark just create heat and when you have a higher tdp gpu obviously it will gonna heat more if they have the same cooler. Try to loop valley or fs and then compare temps

I tried it. the 280x warmer ~3*C but lower noise
/what driver r u using guys? Im using 13.10
