Did not help much with lower screen res. It still flickers when I use mouse

It fluctuates between 0.850 and 0.950 VDDC.

I'm wondering how my Gigabyte will do with the Battlefield 4 release AND HOPING that AMD will release new drivers by that time. At least I'm happier with this card than the XFX7950 I used to have.

stock 6300? my i7 stock cannot keep up with the 7950. have to oc it to 4.5 to play nice.

edit: the thing is . . . a stock i7 SB is faster than a 6300 at 5GHz.redface.gif

I think it's because GB are just selling their old stock of 7970s as 280Xs. And those still have the old design. The lower end Gigabyte 270X gets the new design with black PCB, so that's the only explanation I can come up with.

i use trixx or Afterburner to oc if needed. here is how it looks like for both my 7950 and 7970. of course the clocks will be different.
