Wait till after Christmas. They're all marked up now

Thank's guy's for your replies.
I need a card which can be OC'd so it needs to have un-locked voltage and have memory OC option....

But have seen MSI OC gaming/Hawk having trouble with VRM's being reported in some other forum's. Asus DC II seems good option but then have no idea about voltage locked or not in them same goes for Sapphire Dual OC card as Toxic is way overpriced where i live.
At this point if MSI has no vrm problems then i would get Gaming card and OC the hell out of it....or get Asus one as it has very good cooling.

I do not know about the 280x's but as far as the questions about the 270x, the voltage is locked on the Devil but on the max stock voltage I have run bench's at as much as 1230/1575 and not crashed so I think the 1.265v is enough. It is clocked so high I do not think unlocking the voltage is needed. What are the max volts and clocks on the MSI Gaming 270x if anyone has one? As far as gaming I think they are all going to be very close, as far as overclocking the heck out of them there may be some small differences between the Toxic, Devil and the Gaming. If you have a Gaming or Toxic can you do a Heaven run to?

Devil has a CHL8228 so it should work. I'm probably buying another Hawk. Has to be the best 270X for the money.

That is scary voltage. I don't wanna burn my stuff. But at 1.33 vddc I was getting 50-70 mV less on load. At those voltage it would stay over 1.3.

Edit. I just tested with 1.356 vddc lowest reading was 1.275 BF4 stable at 1250 MHz but I was geting artifacts.

Mine doesn't have any voltage adjustment at all unlike the 7870 devil, when I have them X-Fired I am sure I could get 1225/1450 on both if I wished but I really have no need to with both cards. I am honestly not looking to burn up my cards just to get higher bench's. I can't afford it. The Hawk looks nice and looks like it will overclock like crazy if you wish but there is no way I could stick yellow in my case. tongue.gif
