My R9 270X ASIC Quality is 83.6% Again, Sapphire Vapor-X edition.

Also, I was able to complete Unigine Valley at 1300/1500mhz 1.3v and scored 38.4 fps and 1565 pts. However, the card isn't stable in games at 1300mhz, so I dropped it to 1280mhz.

That is a sweet chip and the card is unlocked. Mine for some reason was locked. I am hoping the new one will not be. I did manage 1230/1580 and know I could have gone much further on the core at 1.3v.

This is a Valley 1.0 run at 1265/1400 with my 7870. Not bad for a 7870 on extremeHD.

Unlocked. I undervolted mine to 1.112 and now I can run at 38% max fan which is inaudible, core maxes at 60, vrm maxes at 74. Asic of 68.

I have a pretty quiet case, fan can be heard over my Noctua fans at 39% and become obnoxious to me at 45%.

So which 280x's are turning out to be the best overclockers guys? Looking for one that is voltage unlocked, overclocks nicely and I can put under water, preferably accepting an XSPC waterblock.

Hello guys, Imn sorry if it was here, but I dont have too much time read whole forum, but I have one HD7950 Gigabyte on water set to 1180/1700 Mhz. yesterday I get R-280X Gigabyte. I put it into a CF. But the performance is like HD7950 on stock clocks.
HD7950 shows 99% usage in Furmark and R9-280X shows 4% of usage. Does anyone know, where the problem is?
Thanks a lot.

No but the first thing I'll tell you is to stop using Furmark and try a program that isn't known to fry cards
post #2320 of 9745
Its no problem with frying.
Now I installed lates full version of drivers.
Now showing as HD7950 and HD7970, usage 99% of each, but parformance like only one card. CF is allowed. So if anyone want new R9-280X GIGABYTE OC edition I will let it him for 320$ or less. Im from Czech republic
