I probably should have waited for the next bundle, this card is sick but I don't have any good games to push it to the limit with.

Thought BF4 was already going to be bundled with the 290x? Either way the line up pictured would be decent for the cards right now as long as they left Dirt off entirely. Probably the biggest issue I would have with it if they kept current line up, crap titles don't make me jump for joy. xD

Only $299 >_< I really did love that cooler on the 760 gaming edition I had before I sent it back for the 770. Wonder if it translates over to this camp.

I mean I could crank that fan up to 70 and not hear a thing, would also keep the card at about 60-64 under max load......... in florida.

Someone in this thread got that MSI card (2 actually) and one of them had a cap blow off it, dunno that it would a reliable card. tongue.gif

Edit: should also note that TPU found it to run hot even on the circuitry.

Haha, that is the reason I have not jumped all over it and the fact that one of the reviewers got one that would hit 87c under load. Though it is really temping sitting here with no card to play games. I have been sitting playing warcraft 3 from the igpu on the 4670k. Takes me back 10 years =p

Well, the Asus DC2 is way quieter than my sapphire 6950... Geeze that thing ran hot and had the most obnoxious fan past 50% ( Whine + vroom vroom). As of right now the max I've seen it hit 78C... ( OCCT test) fan doesn't start cranking up till around 70-72C. (40%-50%) barely noticeable.

I would be all over that matrix edition, I just feel 3 slots is a bit much. Especially since the dcii top is getting better cooling results in reviews.

Aww yiss, time to try and finish Bioshock, then start Tomb Raider biggrin.gif
I'll see how far I can push the card too w/o touching voltage first, curious how much further taking them mem will go since it already comes @ 1600

Will post temps / results too smile.gif

I guess Unengine Heaven is the standard now?
I haven't benched in a long time, but can do a few quick runs if it will help people out.
