Today I did some OCing and benchmarking and after some time I checked temp readings in GPU Z. It said that VRM1 had reached a max of 200° C and VRM2 a min of 15° C. That is both very unlikely, might have been a wrong reading or such? I tested again after that and everything was fine again. GPU never was above 77° C.

Strange, try using HWinfo64 instead to monitor you GPU's.

Are you sure they are both being used 100% when running 3D?

What's you graphics score. My CPU score holds my P score back. Does the 280x get near 20,000 on graphics.

How can you tell you have a XTL? I have a DC2T as well.

hardware info check there
BIOS : 015.039.000.000
GUID : VEN_1002&DEV_6798&SUBSYS_30061043&REV_00&BUS_1&DEV_0&FN_0

Do either of those tell me which version of the chip I have?
My asus top has that same bios so it might be a XTL but just instal hardware info 64 and check there.

Check the pic the 1st ones only had Tahiti XT not XT/XTL

OK mine shows the same. Thanks for the help smile.gif
post #2770 of 9741
thumb.gif also the XTL is way cooler than the XT my card averages 55/56ºc full load (45% fan speed ambient 13ºc)
