Hmm,

If I have time tonight (putting in a new head unit for my car) I will see if I can do any bios mods to these cards. I know I have a lot of temperature head room as I am only hitting 65C after 5 loops of heaven. Farih did put up a bios I could try. I wonder if flashing bios's in XFire make it different. Haven't flashed a bios since my 8800GT!

If its anything like when I flashed my 460's in SLI you would need to specify which cards get updated.

I'm going to get R9 280x to replace my 660ti. I was looking at asus direct cu ii but the card is too long to fit inside my case so my alternative is msi.

1) does msi and asus come with tahiti XTL already?
2) i saw issues about msi card about the new bios and loud fan in order to cool down the vrm but how loud is it under full load? how hot can the vrm be after bios flash?

I would think that you would have to only have 1 installed at a time and update the bios separately.

Friends, I'm cooking a 104 fever with the h1n1 flu right now. I will get back with everyone in regards to the 1.3v edits asap. Just wanted to give a heads up, not ignoring anyone.

Get well.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
So the V850

Talk about PITA, SATA cables on that thing, needed to hire the Hulk in order to get them into the Harddrives and SSDs.
The PSU is also enormous so I couldnt exactly do any good cable management due to it blocking the holes I used to use.

Currently i Have to use Realtek instead of my asus card (xonar DX) and I have an issue thats not relevant here but I ask anyway: Is there a way for my Keyboard Mute and Volume up/Down to function together with Realtek? I cant change ANY volume with the keyboard for some reason and I do know that you should be able to, even with realtek. Cause the keyboard wasnt designed with Asus cards in mind. Its a Sidewinder X4.

I remember my old G15 worked fine with Realtek changing volume etc......

Fixed it had to reinstall the microsoft app for some reason.

Anyway.

Why can I not see Temperature or adjust fanspeed on GPU #2?

Running Valley GPU Usage on #2 is 100% while #1 is all over the place.

Booted up BF4.
Lower FPS than wiht my 680 on the same settings i.e. low.

Changed to Ultra, apply - Crash.

I get the same results with the gpu usage. It is either 0% or 100% while gpu1 is everywhere.

I am at work right now but I think was able to change the fan speed of both GPU's using MSI Afterburner. I just made sure the setting would sync both cards.

Try BF4 with Crossfire disabled and see if it works. I suspect a driver issue there. If it works with it disabled re-enable it and see if it works correctly.
