I was playing Battlefield 3 campaigns again and my card was doing 90 FPS average at 1680X1050 ultra settings with 61c maximum temp.

Has anyone managed over 1.3v on their Asus 280x dcu yet? I have tried almost everything but it seems that 1.3v is max?

Thanks for the Code!

I think i'll go with the Sapphire Vapor X since it's the only one in stock that has decent clock speeds redface.gif

If that's what you're referring to then yes, only the Asus Matrix, Sapphire Toxic, and Sapphire Vapor-X have illuminated logo's off the top of my head. The logo on Matrix and Toxic changes colors but I believe the Vapor-X version only has a blue LED. As you can tell from my avatar, I like lights in my case....LOTS OF EM! So yea, I kinda did my homework on illuminated logos. Hopes this helps tongue.gif

I'm considering the ASUS 280x or just to add a GTX660 to the one I have for SLI GTX660's...

I know the 660 SLI will bench better. But not sure what would be more satisfying in game. I'm playing BF3, Metro LL, and plan to play BF4 when the price comes down a bit on Premium.

What do you think I should do?

go for the 280X since nvidia's ego gets in the way of using mantle. I just made the switch from the green team and i regret nothing thumb.gif

I am getting crossfire 280x in the next coming week but I am torn between the Sapphire Toxic or the Vapor-X. Does anyone own either and have an opinion on them?

I just think 300 for this level of performance is pretty nice. I realize its a re-badged 7970, but still even that is awesome for 300. This is a great buy. Very hard to decide if going SLI 660 or just go 280x.

What are the expected prices on the 290?
