Got 2x7970 CF (1 ref with a syscooling block, 1 XFX non-ref and cant find a block)

Need 2 Dual Link DVI for my Two Q-Nix (2x 2560x1440)

1) If I put a 280x in top slot and CF with 7970 will I get 2 Dual-Link DVIs? (280x has 2 DL-DVI but 7970's had only 1)
2) any 280x can use a 7970 Ref Waterblock?

thanks

So my poor 7970 lightning was reduced to a MSI G series R9 280x, and I cannot get MSI AB to unlock the voltage. Also at highish fan speed, like 50%+ one of the fans squeeks and its exactly why I sent my 7970 lightning in for replacement..... It doesn't do it that often so far though.

So how can I get MSI AB to let me adjust voltage?

I'm thinking of buying the Asus R9 270x Top ( http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/R9_270X_Direct_Cu_II_TOP/3.html )but I saw that she did not have any cooling for the Vrm and memories Vram. This is asus lower costs?
Normally on other cards comes with aluminum in VRM mosfets and heatskins Vram but this asus they are all naked.

This will affect the longevity of the card?

I'll just have to ask the same question before, because I did not yet receive a good feedback. My problem is I experienced BSOD with the latest beta driver 14.3 and other previous driver such as Catalyst 14.2, Catalyst 14.1 and 13.2 while playing Call of Duty: Ghost and Skyrim. Do you guys experience it too? What do I need to do to overcome this or how did you manage to solve this? Please help.

Specs

PROCS: Intel core i3 2100 @ 3.1ghz
RAM: GSKILL Ripjaws 2 x 4GB 1866 DDR3
MOBO: Asrock Z68 Fatal1ty Professional GEN3
PSU: Corsair CS650M 80+ Gold
GPU: Powercolor R9 270x Devil

Thanks in advance!

If you already have tried from the settings>general>unlock voltage control/monitoring/force constant voltage, try this.
I also get that squeaking noise, but at much higher rpm (at about +/-70%),together with some mild coil whine, but since I'm gaming with headphones it doesn't really bother me(and it isn't so very loud to begin with) redface.gif
At 1250 mV Core Voltage and +20% Power limit I get a stable 1200/1600 OC and min 40 fps at most games @ 1080p

Hope this helps..

Thanks for the info. So I was monitoring it on a game. The GPU isn't even getting 1000RPM at 50% speed. It will go up to around 700 and drop back down to 500ish. The fans are confirmed defective. An MSI tech is supposed to call me back tomorrow with information from the RMA department. Looks like I have to send this in now.

I should have never sent in my 7970 lightning. I should have waited till I could afford a 3rd party cooler for it. Very upsetting.

Well I have a problem: When I play, I use my R9 280X Toxic as primary GPU and Asus 280X as secondary GPU....
But only Asus uses 99% of the GPU being Toxic reaches a maximum of 70% of use and my processor reaches 99% of locked use and which is a i5 3570k @ 4.0Ghz whit Vcore on 1.1709.
Should I increase the overclock the processor for best use of GPU???? Do I have to use a standard clock for both GPU? like 1100Mhz on Asus ( 1070Mhz Stock ) and Toxic ( 1150Mhz stock ) and is Normal the second GPU off the fan when using the computer at idle?

I find it strange because I am not able to harness the full use of both GPU....
