Jesse D, thanks for the coupon code! +rep thumb.gif

I don't overclock and I was growing impatient for the Asus models to show up, so I ordered the Gigabyte R9 280x GV-R928XOC-3GD instead.

Came out to $283 shipped, with their 3-day shipping option added.

I'm stuck between ordering the XFX DD 280X or the Sapphire Vapor-X 280X. Is the lifetime warranty and general quality of the XFX DD 280X worth it? I know it must be registered within 30 days. Sapphire seems to have a better reputation and the Vapor-X is a decent cooler. I'm just curious about the general opinion on OCN between XFX and Sapphire.

Me too. I am looking at the sapphire as well but I really really want the asus model.

Edit: I want to get one and send my 2 7850s back.

I'm debating on the Sapphire Toxic and the Asus Matrix.

Which one is better?

Sapphire toxic I really like the look of, but not sure about that or MSI's 280x redface.gif

ASUS's will probably be good too, but wonder how much of the price is because of the ASUS name tongue.gif

The Asus Matrix is 349.99 on Newegg.

I really wanted to know if there's a way to compare the Matrix and Toxic performance wise or do I just go in blind? I've heard the Toxic is almost on the same level as a 780, which is very impressive for $300 less.

Just pulled the trigger on the Matrix 280x. Time to send the 7850s back and get out of this madness of crossfire.

I've heard pretty mediocre things about the DD coolers
