well a 7970 cf destroy a titan so i guess it will destroy a 290x for the same price ,.... sure you have a few issu in cf , but you own 2 card , you can use them in 2 different computer which can be an huge advantage over a single card , plus you can add another one for cheap later. one titan or one 290x is not good enough to have 60 fps with high settings on 1440p or above , but a 280x cf is just what you need ,.... so the only reason for these higher tier card is to buy more then one for some special setup like 6 screen eyefinity or just for computing power.

i dont have a problem with new gpu but if they spend maibe 2 years insteed of 1 years to develop it and give us some real performance improvement i will be happy to buy the top tier card , until then they will never be worth their price.

Newegg has both Asus models back in stock now.

But seeing how the 290/290x is only a week away, I'm waiting to see what prices they come in at.

Asus comes back when i already bought the sapphire vapor x! rolleyes.gif

Good thing Sapphire Vapor x is already on its way! hopefully it won't dissapoint. I've seen one review that said the voltage was unlocked and one where it was mentioned it was locked. I'll know soon enough

It's a shame you didn't have more than one newegg account so you could use the promo code twice and save $50
