Nice clocks and score! The highest 7870/270/X in the Valley thread is 39.4FPS and that was @ 1350 core (but he overshot on the mem to 1550)

It is version 2.4.9.2 and works fine. It holds all my saved profiles for single card and crossfire.2014-04-04 12.28.07.jpg

I have a new Sapphire Dual-X R9 280X and I was playing some BF4 today.

On the Shanghai map with 64 players everything set on Ultra I dipped down to 28 - 30 FPS sometimes and averaged around 45 - 50 fps, I was just wondering is this below average or is this generally what people with 280X's get on a big 64 player map?

I'm running at default speeds (1020Mhz core clock and 1500Mhz memory clock), I made sure that in GPU-Z the full 1020Mhz was being used and that there was no throttling. My temps are completely fine, both the CPU and GPU don't go above 60c. Also I'm using the latest Beta driver 14.3.

The rest of my specs:
i5 2500k at stock
8GB G.Skill RipjawsX at 1600Mhz
ASUS P8Z68-V Pro/Gen3
Coolermaster V700 PSU
120GB Intel 330 SSD
Windows 7 64bit

Does anyone know if the MSI R9 270 is voltage locked?
I know that the Gigabyte model is, and that the Asus model isn't.

My msi 270x ain't voltage locked. Rumor has it that the newly produced 270's are locked though.

Hello to all 270, 270x, 280, 280x owners!

Just wondering does anyone have any issues with your card? I'm working as a PC technician and selling PC hardware, currently many of my customers have RMA their 270X and 280X (both by ASUS) because of the strange artifacts, tearing, green boxes and lines on the screen while gaming, even watching movie in 1080p.
Wanna have some feedback from Asus owners, I wonder the last batch we received were actually a bad one?

afaik a bios update solved the flickering, artifacting etc etc...
Just head over to the asus main site, for the 270x there's 2 new bioses available that should solve the issue
