beta3 for me works great, except in BF3 I see green "stuff" as trail when I move mouse, but that only happens when I'm in building or object is in "shadow". It is really wierd, and my head hurts, I should play little more with BF3 settings to fix that issue.

That doesn't sound good, you shouldn't be having things like that happen no matter what settings you use. I am already doubting my decision to buy this card frown.gif

Haha, yeah that's like saying your sandwich is great, except you've got this funny feeling in your gut and your vision is slowly fading. And oh, last night you pooped blood. But just a little bit.

Yes, so are there any non-beta drivers that work properly available for it?

they are basically re-badged 7970GE cards so you could probably use WHQL drivers.

I'm really wanting to get an MSI R9 280x for my build, but I'm worried about heat. I want to build it in an EVGA Hadron Air, and don't want my CPU getting too hot. What do you guys think?

Heat issue with the MSI 280x is solved/lessened by flashing the bios with a new one MSI provided Techpowerup who in turn provided it for everyone else, it *Shouldn't* have heat issues after flashing your card to the new one.

MSI R9 280X here. I have tried 13.4, 13.9, 13.10, and currently am using 13.11 B3 and really could not tell any difference. Tweaking settings does more.

Max temps so far is 65C with the new bios. 3DMark says it is in the 81% range stock.

Okay thanks. But there is still the "issue" of the card heating up the entire computer because its an open style GPU in a SFF pc.
