I got a Wii!

Thread Starter
As a Christmas gift from my girlfriend. Most amazing console I have ever had the pleasure of using. It is seriously giving my $5000+ computer a run for its money. I spent 4+ hours today playing wii sports (pro bowler *flex*). The media capabilities are alot of fun (SD card viewing, slide shows, internet, etc), and I got to fire up good old windwaker after a year of not playing it (my GC died during a heated match of SSB...). Anyways, great gift, cant wait to get something other then wii sports.

Tubnotub1 gives the Wii a 9/10

+ Unique Controllers
+ Intuitive UI
+ Groundbreaking Gameplay
+ Relatively Low Price Point
+ It comes with a game!
+ Easy to Setup on a Wireless Network (128 Bit Encrypted / Mac Filtered No less)

+/- Bland Styling
+/- Controller says "p00" on the inside

- So far, not impressed with graphics
- Limited to 480p (grrrr)
- Not a DVD player (ill live)

I Will agree so far the graphics are not all that impressive...However it may change. Oh and the DVD versions of the console is getting released in 2007

Lol, yeah, I say that about the graphics though after playing stuff on my SLI rig, so im kinda spoiled when it comes to that aspect, Im sure once I get the new Zelda game and run it at 480p ill be a little happier with the graphics. And about the DVD versions, do you have any price info? And will they come with any other exclusives?

Now all you need to do is hit someboy on the head with it or destroy your furniture.
