Ok, I'm planning to buy some new parts and re-use some of my old, to build a server. So far i came up with this.

New parts
Motherboard - Asus A85XM-A
CPU - AMD A4-5300 (Will Dual-Core be fine? Will i get anything out of a Quad?)
HDDs - 3x WD Red 3TB
PSU - Help me here. I was told it's important to get a single 12V rail? But i want a silent one, not too expensive tho tongue.gif

Old parts
Case - Fractal Design R3 Black
Memory - Kingston HyperX Blu 2x2 GB DDR3 1600 MHz CL9
4x Noiseblocker PL2 (2x 120mm In. 2x140mm Out, all at 7v)
1x Samsung 1TB F3 (HD103SJ)
1x Seagate Backup Plus 1TB 2.5" USB 3.0 (is USB 3.0 supported in unRAID?)
1x Kingston Datatravelser SE9 8GB Flash Drive for unRAID

The motherboard got 8 SATA ports, and the case have room for 8x 3.5" drives too. So this is perfect. Gives me room to expand in the future.

Will this be good for a unRAID server? ..or FlexRaid, im not sure yet. redface.gif Leaving towards unRAID tho.

My requirements for the server are:

Fileserver (stream movies, music etc to all my devices) and some FTP/HTTPS so i can access it from work etc smile.gif
Torrent program (Guess uTorrent works in unRAID)
Webinterface or remote desktop...
Maybe print server - No printer yet tho tongue.gif Any brands recommend for unRAID?

Will unRAID be fine for all this or is there better alternatives out there?
