3770k die , liquid pro or liquid ultra ? - Page 3

The die was certainly marked" where the CLU was applied, and obviously a lot more on the IHS. There was some minor marking on the bottom of the cooler also (Thermalrigh VX Black). That was only after three months too.

It shouldn't react with any of these from what I understand? Perhaps I had a bad batch.

My temps got worse also (I discovered the corrosion when I went to reapply the CLU) and assume that was due to the reaction with the IHS.

I went back to regular compounds after that and found the temps weren't that much different (perhaps 2 degress) - the most significant drop I got was just due to the delidding.

but regular tim , pump out of position every 2 weeks or so , temps get worse every 2 weeks ... you will have to re-apply every 2 weeks if you use normal paste ...

I don't know what paste you're using but no-one needs to reapply theirs every two weeks...

when i use mx-4 temp is good at first but after 2 weeks temps jump up 10c, this happened with me more than 3 times till i bite the pullet and imported CLU because i was told here that normal paste does this while clu doesn't ....
