New QNIX QX2710 Evolution II (Matte) 27" 2560X1440

Thread Starter
Just received my new QX2710 today. It arrived via UPS and only took about 7 days from Korea. The monitor arrived perfectly packaged and shrink wrapped. Unpacking was uneventful and I had it up and running in about 20 minutes or so. The resolution and colors are stunning, with no noticeable dead or hot pixels - no bleed through on corners either. So far, I'm happy.

Need to pick someone's brain about frequency. It seems that its locked in at 60 Hz and no way to bump it up through Catalyst. I know there are some OC routines floating around but I would like to get some feedback before I start tinkering. Thanks in advance. biggrin.gif

You should try the CRU from here: LINK

If I don't remember wrong AMD does not work too well with custom resolution, that's why you need the CRU.
Not sure if the EVO II can OC or not, since it has a built in scaler, but give it a try smile.gif

Several here on OCN with 120hz korean monitors using AMD, so might give the search a go too.

Good luck!
