Wii flies higher than PS3 - Page 2

Emmanuel and Kenny have the right of it. I've played both and own the PS3. I greatly prefer the PS3 over the Wii. The Wii is good for Wii Sports and that is it. I actually stopped playing Zelda because I didn't like it! This from the guy who had memorized all of the Orcana songs for N64. The idea of the movement in the controllers is good but the technology isn't there yet. It probably would of been better if they had more than 1 IR sensor. Most of the time it wouldn't pick up slight movements in the sticks, or you had to greatly exaggerate movements that you wanted to do. The Wii is more for older people and people without hand-eye coordination (or finger-eye coordination if you want to be picky).

The problem with the PS3 is they don't have any OMG***BBQ games to wow the general consumer. It isn't that the games out aren't good, I enjoy CoD3 and Resistance, it's that they do not take advantage of all the technology I paid for and knock my socks off. So as more games are released for the consoles we'll see a better representation of what the PS3 can actually do. Since it has ~4X the processing power of the Wii it should also have much more staying power than the Wii.

Overall:
PS3>>Wii

The problem with the ps3 is you can go spend less and get a $400 premuim Xbox 360 and It will do everything the ps3 does.

Comparing the 360, PS3, and the Wii is like comparing oranges, apples, and pears.

They all can't compete with eachother.

For all of you saying or thinking that the PS3 has hardly any games, wait until early 2007. It just didn't have as great of a launch as other systems, and saying that you'll get a 360 because of the games, well because they had a years headstart. The 360 was doomed since day 1.

Okay...sorry that was off-topic.

The 360 can't play blu-ray.
The 360 isn't fully backwards compatible.
The 360 doesn't have bluetooth.
etc.
etc.
etc.

EDIT: Sorry for the double post.

It's amusing that you can start your post so promising yet still end up bashing the 360.

Not to mention your obvious fanboy double post.

Blu-Ray still doesn't matter at this time. PS3 fanboys really need to learn that. The PS2 and PS3 are not "fully" backwards compatible either, despite the fact that the PS3 actually has PS2 silicon inside of it. Bluetooth? Your point? The 360's wireless is just as good. Another irrelevant point.

Anyway, the PS3 game offerings will come back from their current slump. We all they will. And the 360's game offerings will become stronger as well. You can't ignore that.

The PS3 needs to talk to houdini to get themselves out this trap. Over is the main word for the PS3. Overpriced, overheating, overhyped, soon to be over.

It's more backwards compatible than the 360.
The 360 also doesn't play HD DVD's out of the box.

The PS3 is a good price. Look what's in it. A blu-ray player alone is around one grand. The PS3 does that and more for only $600.
