And whats with Gigabyte using the same old cooler and blue PCB on their 280X? did they gave up on competing against other AIBs....Their Windforce 5x was probably the best 3 slot cooler I ever experienced....Both of my GTX 680s gaming temps usually sit around low and mid 40s celsius as they rarely reach 50C in some cases and around 60C in Unigine valley bench loop...and even GPU temperatures in SLI...I wonder if they gave up because of flaky previewers bashing the design....
I went from the 670 WF3 (plastic shroud, blue pcb) to the 770 WF3 with the new design (metal shroud, cool looking, black pcb) and thought it was an awesome card in terms of looks and build quality. I too was disappointing to see the old WF3 and blue pcb, the new one really is just way better.
