Need help booting from usb on asus x420c

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I'm trying to install win 7 from usb on a friends asus x420c

The difficulty I'm having is that i can't get the usb to appear as a boot option in the bios.
I have disabled secure boot control.
launch csm is enabled.
I have an option to launch pxe oprom, however this is disabled at the moment.

I have the option to add a new boot option but when i got into this it seems i would need to manually input this and have no idea what to add, also requires path for boot as well.

Any help at this point would be gratefully received.

How are you setting up the bootable USB

There's also a possibility that the motherboard is unable to do this, boot from USb
