Topre Realforce vs Type Heaven

Thread Starter
What differences in feel can I expect between a Type Heaven and a Realforce that's similarly 45g uniform?

I don't really know as I don't own any Topre switches. A few other OCN'ers own the more expensive Topres, considering this one is designed in Japan and manufactured in China they must've had to cut a lot of corners to make the price drop by about $100. The only big difference looks like PBT keycaps with the Realforce and ABS keycaps with the Type Heaven. It looks like they use the same capacitive switch. The only real way to know how the Type Heaven feels is to go buy one.

The consensus I got on GH from msging a few veteran members is that it's better to spend a bit more on a used RF than a brand new TH. Despite having the same switches, there's supposedly a difference in feel between the 45g uni RF and the TH boards due to the overall construction/keycaps. I just don't see the point in spending ~$150 when you can get a better board for ~$200 that's in good condition.
