High CPU temps

Thread Starter
Hey!

I've been experiencing high cpu temps lately (40-45c no OC) so I decided to flush the loop.
Using a 240 XSPC RS and a 140 XSPC RX. My 780 is also in the loop.
I drained it and took out everything. After that I filled everything up with water and vinegar and let it stand for 1 hour like that. I put everything together and im still experiencing high cpu temps.

I was too afraid to open the cpu block and just let it stand in water and vinegar like I did with the radiators.

45c idle and 65c after some prime95 testing feels pretty high.

Any idea what could be causing this?

I'm using a Black Water Atlantis DP-600P 12V Pump which I've used for about 3 years now.

EDIT: From what I've heard it's just the same as the EK dcp 4.0

I have no idea how to check the flow. The water level drops pretty quickly when I turn on the pump tho.

Hello,
As a tip to you , Always have a flow meter installed . They are very helpful to have in any loop!. But there is still a problem here. Does your pump get hot? , make allot of noise? smell funny? .
