[TheVerge] Samsung announces the Galaxy Round, a smartphone with a curved OLED display - Page 7

I'd love it if the curvature of the phone somehow turned the screen into a concave mirror and starting melting people's retinas whenever they use it in the sunlight (à la that skyscraper in London). The lawsuits, oh my.

Pointless feature. Anyone who gets excited about this, please contact me as I have some really great land to sell you in the Everglades, super cheap!

Take the s3 or of the count, and it's more like 19 out of 20 repairs are iphones. We stock iPhone parts of all types, but only special order in other screens, due to the rarity of other types of repairs.

I believe it's the S3s slightly curved glass that is is weakness.

And I bet 8 out of the 9 iPhones were broken by teenagers. It has nothing to do with the phone, it's all about the demographic. smile.gif

Only thing I'd like about this is a better fit inside your pocket, fits the thigh contour better. Not sure how it's feel on your ear though.

16-45 year Olds all break their screens and backs, majority probably (and anecdotally) in the younger range, but definitively teenagers? Nope.

Iphones were designed to be broken, and fixed, at a comfortable profit margin. Having repaired thousands over the years, as apposed to dozens of other phones, I have no doubt. How much money does Apple make off of replacement parts? That's not a rhetorical question.

I remember people complaining that the Note was too big to be practical so I'm just gonna hold my judgement until I actually see this for myself. I was planning on getting the Note 3 but I guess I'll go check this phone out first.
