For people getting crappy framerates. Alt tab and see if that helps. I have to do that every time I start the game I have to do that. Kinda stupid, but it works.

so log in tab out and then back into game. ill give it a try ive tried everything else. i saw a thing on yahoo people copying certain parts of black ops 2 into the .exe section of ghosts and making the all the problems go away. not to sure how true that is but at this point having a game i paid for and then also paid for the season pass wich is about 110 bucks or so no working realy bites. ill try the alt tab and look more into the bo2 thing as well.

is there any word on if activision or iw is actualy going to do a real working update to the game to fix all the issues. read the nots of the last so called patch that added a new mode, but realy iw a new mode the old modes dont work....mad.gif

id like to actualy play the game since i spent the money and cant get a refund.
I get the same thing. My hardware is pretty potent too, if I have to say.

3770K @4.5GHz (HT enabled)
16GB DDR3 @2133MHz (9-10-10-27-1T timings)
GTX 780 Lightning @1.3GHz core/7GHz QDR memory
512GB (2x256GB) RAID0 Samsung 830 Series

I have been playing around with the settings using various suggestions on Google, and I haven't found a single combination to work. I get good frames (90fps), but a lot of tearing (fps drops) at times and all it ever does is screw up my groove (which in turn ends up killing me :/). I'm honestly about to give up playing this game and just jump ship to BF4. I guess my CoD days are numbered now. Too bad too, I've always been a CoD fan (since the days of CoD4). I guess that's what you get when you expect too much out of something.

riddle me this batman!! check this one out. i realy got tired of all the wierdness ghosts had. so i dug around in my old military foot locker i now use for pc stuff a junk box you can say. i dug up one of my old evga gtx460se cards. i forgot i even had these things. so i was curriouse. i uninstalled all the amd drivers and took the r9 out and dropped in this old 460 and installed the drivers. ran the game and strange thing the game ran without a hitch. so now im at a loss here. how does an aging and very old gpu by todays standerds run the game good and the new high end stuff not so much. now im thinking this game was seriously build on old tech and very nvidia driven. seeing as how your having the same issues but on a very high end nvidia im going with this game is strickly optimized for below par systems aka consoles. i played all day yesterday with no issues whats so ever on that old evga. crazy...

to make matters worse i got even more curiouse and went to my coworkers house, he did his first build a few weeks ago with some of my old parts and is running two sapphire 6870 vapor-x's so i told him to disable the crossfire and run the game. this is a 1gig card just like the gtx460 and lord and behold the game ran like a champ. so what realy is the deal here??? now im all types of confused the only way i can play the game is with this old gpu when i have now 4 high end current get gpus sitting on the desk. as for battlefield 4 you cant go wrong, i still go back and play 3 from time to time. 4 just launch the china rising dlc and the maps are on point, and thats with old gpus and my new ones. lol..

Thanks. I'm redoing the loop at the moment.
Too bad ghosts doesn't take advantage of the extra resources.

I'm now waiting on Titan Fall.

Gotta redo my loop next week. Going to go ahead and completely tear everything down and clean it since it'll all be out of my case while I"m modding it to fit the X79 dark and 3930k. biggrin.gif

Sig rig mate. Corsair Carbide 540. Don't really have a choice to mod if I want to keep my UT60 240MM where it is. Pictures are way out of date for it though. It shows my 770s. XD
