that's the thing, VERY good flight sims kinda matured early in the computer gaming industry so even OLD titles like falcon3 are good sim's. they can benefit visually from today's tech like tessellation and volumetric fog etc... but as far as "simulators" goes, there really isn't much more they can do in terms of simulating how an aircraft performs flying through air.

there are some "more modern" titles out there, but the fact is flight sims kinda fell off the cliff on popularity because the cost involved with getting a GOOD stick and throttle is pretty damn high biggrin.gif i mean, there's really only 1 choice if you are serious about flying and that's almost $500 for the stick and throttle biggrin.gif

The engine looks great, but that landing was much too easy. Totally arcade-like.
