Need HELP! 4770k, H100i, Z87 UD5H

Thread Starter
Specs:

i7 4770k, Corsair H100i, Gigabyte Z87 UD5H, Kingston XMP Beast 2400mhz 16gb RAM

I am having issues overclocking. Running everything at stock (3.5ghz), it's all good. I can run stress tests, video encoding, etc, perfectly fine. No issues. No crashes.

My overclocking setup is causing issues. Stress tests/video encodes fail after a few minutes.

Turbo boost DISABLED
EIST ENABLED
C1E ENABLED
C3/C6 ENABLED.
Power options (in windows) = balanced

Ratio = 45, CPU Vcore = 1.300v

CPU VRIN External Override = 1.800v
CPU Ring Voltage = NORMAL

Uncore Ratio = 41 (4.1ghz)

RAM. Load XMP profile

Change command rate to 1T

I then tried lowering ratio to 40 (4ghz), but I still get crashes

Suggestions?

Thanks

set the timings manually, sometimes xmp profiles don't work.

yea most likely your overclock is failing due to your ram Raise your timings 1 notch each, for example if your ram is currently running at 9-9-9-24, raise it to 10-10-10-30 (the 4th number should be the sum of the first three, general rule of thumb for ease of overclocking when overclocking ram)

Was running into the same problems with my setup, Finally thought to set my ram to 1600 and my computer stopped crashing, I then realized that it was my ram causing the BSOD's, raised the timings a little and everything runs great, 3770k @ 4.7 1.44 Turbo Boost Volts, Ram @ 2133 12 12 12 36
