I can't say the concept and gameplay style interest me, but, the graphics are pretty nice smile.gif

So while it's great that people that want a cinematic, more casual experience have better games to play now, it's not great that it's taken over the market to a point where it's pretty much the only option. The lack of choice is why there are so many complaints these days, and it doesn't help when we see all of our favorite IP's that should be beacons of hope, turn into the same games we hate.

to each their own
there's still tons of great singleplayer games
Portal, Fall out 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect and the list goes on
if you wanna be more specific for the stealth gen, Dishonored was good, MGS4 is solid, even the new Splinter Cell was impressive despite being "consolized".

i dont think i was ever up in arms because a campaign experience was too cinematic or too casual...at least it never got in the way of the experience. If you wanna go stealthy..sure...but if you're a noob and want to multi-kill bullet time everyone? that's an option too! Ff a game is going to consoles you have to expect it to cater to a wider audience. Again i think this resentment just goes back to PC gamers being mad PC games haven't had a good exclusive singleplayer game since HL2 and STALKER. If you want to be a eltist snob (which also applies to me) go play glitchy Rome, CS, ARMA and the likes...but in this day in age you can't really be expecting a "hardcore" singleplayer game on PC...old or new IP. Only one I can think of in recent years is Metro and Witcher series.

Yeah, we agree there to some extent, I just don't look at it as such a minor deal as you. To me, having maybe one or two new games a year to play, if I'm lucky, is down right depressing. As for PC exclusivity, I don't give a rats ass, as the best new game I've played in recent memory was Dark Souls, even though it required mods to work right on PC. Oh well, enough off topic.
