I'm thinking about buying a USB 3.0 enclosure because most of my computers have USB 3.0 ports and I transfer very large files often (2-14gb). So I would really like to have a USB 3.0 drive, but the thing I'm worried about is that if I plug this into a USB 2.0 port, which I will frequently. Will the USB 2.0 port supply enough power for the enclosure? I know that most USB enclosures either have a power adapter/supply or a USB 2.0 cable with two USB 2.0 plugs to power the enclosure, and that the USB 3.0 enclosures I'm looking at all have a single USB 3.0 plug and don't have any option for another power source.
