W7 Loading Cursor randomly blinking.

Thread Starter
So friend of mine just got his rig in and his loading circle/cursor on his mouse pointer keeps blinking every second or so as if the PC is loading something. We haven't been able to figure out what's causing it though. Looked at most of the processes and didn't see anything out of the normal. Any suggestions? Nothing is wrong with the computer it runs fine, it's just an annoyance.

My first guess would a driver or background process trying to update in the background. Have you looked at it in safe mode? That might give you a clue about what's going on (still does it in safe mode or not).

He said it didn't do it the first day he got it so it must of been something he installed i'm guessing. When i get back to town i'll have to launch in safe mode and see if it still happens.
