PERC4/DC PCI-X Low performance?

Hello guys! So I have a dell poweredge 2600, a super old server I got for free. I bought a PCI-X PERC4/DC card. I was super excited as I have 6 SCSI 15krpm drives! So I attached the scsi cable to the RAID card and the backplane, booted into configuration and set up RAID0 with 6 drives for funzies.

However when I booted into a live disk of centos i got only 155MB/s read with hdparm -Tt

So I thought Thats pretty low, maybe i have a failing disk So I tried just 2, 2 that I know are not failing and I still got the exact same number... 155MB/s hmmm

So what do you guys think is the bottleneck? I thought the PCI-X but according to wiki it goes up to 1gb/s ..... I believe I have it in a PCI-X 100MHZ.

Ideas?

Thanks,
Haas360

Update, if I look at the bios it says the PERC card is in PCI mode at 66mhz... anyone know how to change that? Its obviously the issue
