how to set a dedicated card for physX?

Hi all,

my question is about having 2 different nvidia cards on my PC with one being the main card and the other for physX. I currently have to GTX 560ti which I plan to upgrade to the gtx 770 during the holiday sales.

I was thinking that instead of selling the 560 for dirt cheap prices i can just use it as a dedicated physX card. It this possible and how would i go about setting this up?

Can this be done with the AMD 7970 GE? I heard the the 7970 GE is cheaper but perform much better than the GTX 770 plus all the free games.

Thanks in advance.

Forgot to mention i have a Corsair HX 550M PSU. if this is not enough i can replace it with a 850W PSU

Go into nvidia control panel by right clicking on desktop, then select the PhysX section.... Select the intended PhysX card from "Auto" to whatever card. Apply.

Yep.

PhysX card is more dependent on shader clocks. Mem clock is irrelevant.
