This guy sounds like a scumbag, maybe you can get a mod involved.
Seller here, I would say that this is an unfair description of me. I am working with MrEpicCar, and will do what's in my power to fix this situation.
When I sold the card, everything was working flawlessly. It was dusty, but other than that, it was in great condition. I shipped with USPS Priority w/Tracking, Insurance and Signature Confirmation. This was to make sure it arrived quickly, to the buyer, with no damage. According to MrEpicPie, the box was a bit roughed up on arrival, but no damage appeared to be dealt to the card.
On September 14th, three days after arrival, I received feedback stating the card worked flawlessly. At this point, I stopped regularly checking OCN, as all transactions had been completed with a confirmation that the product's I had shipped were working.
On October 4th, MrEpicPie informed me the card wasn't working. I didn't receive this message until today, as I had been checking OCN roughly once a week. Now, I find out the card arrived slightly roughed up by USPS, and was malfunctioning quickly after arrival. I wasn't informed of any problems until October 4th. Obviously any card crashing while playing a YouTube video is not properly functioning.
If I had heard about the initial problems listed within two weeks after arrival, I would have immediately requested MrEpicCar to send me back the card, and I would refund him. I didn't however, and over two weeks after my guarantee expired, I received a PM from him stating the card was dead.
This puts me in a predicament. I have already spent the $275, as I received confirmation the card was working, and it has been a month since it was delivered. That makes an immediate refund out of the option. Even if I had that much immediately disposable, should I refund him? What if MrEpicCar broke it, and is now trying to have me take the fall? I don't believe that is his intention, and I will not jump to that conclusion, but it is a valid possibility.
I sincerely hope this issue gets sorted out, and I will assist MrEpicCar in every way I can. Unfortunately, however, it doesn't look like there are too many options.
If any part of this is unclear, or you have doubts about my intentions as a seller, feel free to comment. I will answer all questions I can. I will link the FS thread, and my feedback below.FS Thread
