Benq GW2760HS 27" vs. Benq RL2450H 24" & 27" 1080p, How blurry is it?

I have a quick question for you guys, I'm looking to upgrade my screen from a 21.5" to either 24" - 27" screen.
I have found 2 monitors that are really cheap but however there is only one problem, They are both 1080p. Unfortunately I can only buy from JB Hi-FI as I was given a $830 worth of gift cards for my 21st and I need to spend them before they expire. lachen.gif

Benq GW2760HS 27" - $297: http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/benq/27-inch-flicker-free-led-monitor-sku-419124/
Benq RL2450H 24" - $198: http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/benq/24-inch-led-monitor-sku-347478/

I really love the super slim look of the 27" and the value for money, However there is one thing bothering me. I have been told that 27" screens running at 1080p are really blurry, Although I would rather get a 1440p screen, JB don't sell them and the cheapest one it at PCCG for around $600.

I have been looking into forcing 1440p in a 1080p monitor and apparently using nvidia control panel you can do this.

My other option is maybe seeing if JB would custom order one in for me, But either way it will be over $300 which I do not want to spend as I'm going to be buying a laptop for school with the rest of the money. Keep in mind guys that I will be buying these on Boxing Day or Christmas for the best deal possible!

1. What are your thoughts between the 2 monitors?
2. Can anyone confirm on whether this works?
3. Is 1080p 27" monitors really blurry (I'm normally about 3-2 feet from my screen)

Use your cards to buy a TV - then buy a real monitor from a real PC shop.
