Yeah, that is my way of thinking.
Maybe I have an 'overkill' mindset, but I like to have maybe too much headroom, lol but not to the point of losing efficiency.

If you get a Fractal Design Newton R3 600 watts then you have more then enough headroom

But not too the point that efficiency drops too much

Am not an efficiency expert that would be Two Cables

So no i cant help you there sory

It becomes even harder when you look at it this way an overkill platinum PSU costs the same to run as a gold PSU that fit your needs

Just purchased the seasonic 660w platinum lol the best of the best should make thigns easier, now onto mobo and ram, what is the ideal ram speed for a 4770k, 2133? I plan to oc to as high as possible on air, but that's a different thread
