About to buy, any thoughts?

Just wanted to put this out there, about to finally upgrade from my sig equipment (the 955 has a bad core so its only a tri core now lol)
Here are the parts,
Motherboard Asus Z87 Sabertooth
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CRJVZOM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
CPU i5-4670K
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CO8TBOW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I already have a Noctua NH-D14 so cooling shouldn't be an issue,

Let me know what you think, or if you have different suggestions i'm all ears smile.gif

Also, I know my current RAM isn't fast enough for this new board. I will be upgrading once I recover from this purchase haha

Thanks!

Skip the Sabertooth and get a Gigabyte Z87 D3H with an i7 4770k. You will be much happier with hyperthreading rather than an overpriced motherboard.

Thanks for the replies! rep all around smile.gif @Legonut personally I really like how the Sabertooth looks, and after my wonderful (sarcasm) time with my GA-870A-UD3. I just can't buy another motherboard that isn't high end imho any motherboard that isn't iTX and is <$200 isn't high end / quality. I know im wrong, it just wont go through it again (hopefully). But thank you very much for the suggestion smile.gif

Also @Pontiac I had no idea about the PSU compatibility of Haswell, that caught me off guard lol. But I have a Corsair 650TX so im all set, but thank you very much for that information.

Pulled the trigger on the Sabertooth and 4670K, after I get comfortable with it, hoping for a delid / EK naked ivy adapter for a CPU loop

Thanks again for your input, very good info all around
