Must have happened recently cause it was long ago at all i saw him playing it. He used to show his key clicks on screen. His play was legit regardless what he had to change to make the game interface better.

"Starcraft 2 Cress was banned for cheating across his multiple Blizzard and Twitch account(s) for using third-party software (macros, etc.) to make his XBOX 360 controller skit viable. I do not think he even denied or defended himself against the accusations or the account bans. He pretty much admitted he was playing the game in a modified/cheaty way, accepted the punishment and is moving on." - Falknir, earlier in the thread.

His play was not legitimate, using modifications at this level of play is generally a huge no-no, and he had tons of recorded footage of him supposedly doing it. Blizzard doesn't just hand out permanent account bans to grand-master/master tier players (top 2%) on a whim, especially across all of their accounts and gets their Twitch account banned as well. You can probably still find his cached posts someplace.

Suit yourself. I for one much prefer being in an open environment such as my living room while being able to relax and game. As of right now, the only games that work with controllers really are FPS' and even then it is sketchy.

Lol. Macros? I wonder what he would use that on.

If it is a build order macro thats one thing but I cant think of how a macro would help. Its not like wow where you cast spells. I used to be masters and I also know blizzard is anal and will ban any masters player for game modification. Even as simple as a skin change. You give them to much credit in the grace department. So I wont discount his ability to use a a controller that easily.

Eitherway we better get back on topic.
