According to corsair there is nothing wrong, apparently some boards are thinner in spots. Interested in seeing anyone having this problem on a Maximus VI hero.

I willl try the three things on mine, Turn backplate 90 degrees. Put in more thin washers between the backplate to tighten up. Reseat the cooler on cpu with new paste,

I will keep you up to date on if this helps any!
