Laptop battery replacement

Thread Starter
I'm looking in getting a new battery for my Lenovo Y560. Is it okay to go with a third party battery? Does any have experience with them? I found this on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Bay-Valley-Parts-5200mAh-Replacement/dp/B00AK4R24I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1381546233&sr=8-2&keywords=l09s6d16 but there are no reviews. Should I try looking at other sites?

Third party batteries tend to be short on safety features. One thing you might check is who the OEM is for the official battery. If that company alo sells a non named one there's a good chance it came off the same line.

I'll try looking in to that since the official battery is pricey.
