High end mid tower suggestions

Thread Starter
Hi everyone. I'm currently thinking about upgrading my Antec 300. Money is not a huge issue, but space is. What cases with that approximate form factor exist on the nicer end of the spectrum? It needs to be able to fit a H80 (H100 would be better), multiple hard drives and SLI. Quietness is a plus, but space and airflow are more important to me. Dust filtering is very important. Thanks for any suggestions...

I'd reccommend a Corsair 600t, the front and top grates have air filters built in, cable management, screwless side panels, as well as easily supports not only the h80, but the h100 series water coolers. Because its Corsair, you're getting something you know is compatible with other Corsair products. I love mine.

thanks guys. I already saw the case labs case; I think the Merlin might be a little too large. Any other suggestions? I'm looking for options off the beaten path.

Not off the beaten path but the 2 cases I am going between are Corsair 650D and the Fractal Design Arc Midi R2. They are both nice cases. The Corsair is twice the price of the Arc Midi. 650D has some nice features.

Honestly Case Labs is about as far off the beaten path you can get. I think that the Merlin SM5 Case might be what you are looking for.
Measurments are as follows:

Merlin SM5 20.04"H x 11.18"W x 18.38"D (509mm x 284mm x 467mm).
HAF922: 19.70"H x 10.00"W x 22.20"D (502mm x 253mm x 563mm).

I chose the two cases above to point out the size similarities. The HAF922 is considered to be a Mid tower case but if I remove the drive bays I could put your Antec 300 inside it and close the panel. The HAF922 is probably one of the biggest mid towers on the market. (If not the biggest. I have not seen another mid tower that big yet)

I would kill for a Case Labs Merlin SM5...... I love my HAF922 but have found that the cable management just does not make me particularly happy.

I have an antec eleven hundred, and I love it. very big, lots of room for cables, great cooling... and you can find it on sale for under 100$ pretty often.
