I second that thumb.gif

Ooohh... double elimination tourney.. I like that - actually I would recommend an adjustment to Lourad's suggestion... take the 3 top builds from both threads... then run a final vote of those 6 builds in another thread. That way the weighting is fair as I think there will be naturally more votes overall in the first thread than the second - unless everyone votes in both threads - in which case it's not a true recreation of a single poll.

If the top three from both are re-run in a shootout - those results should be statistically indistinguishable from a single poll run. thumb.gif

Of course, it doesn't matter to me - since I won't be in the running either way. rolleyes.gif (I didn't even vote for my own build when viewed in comparison to some of the others in that thread!)

thinking.gif That's a really good idea, actually. Let me think on it, but that's probably the way to go.

not sure about that

I don't understand why the first 3 are not the first 3 and redo another vote round?????

everyone have one vote per thread, don't understand why is not correct

im pretty sure p0pe will win and he deserves to win, this way give me another chance to win
why give another chance to me or other rigs?
my thought is he win this round , its final he win, no need to make another round

The reason was that ppl voted once on each thread, so they voted for you and pope
(example)
But maybe not everyone did that, witch would make the vote count off.

So just to make it as clear as possible the top 3 go head to head, they are still the top 3. Just now all on one thread and the winner is no doubt the winner!
As far as Pope being the winner if that is the case so be it, but this way the doubt some May feel would be gone.

To be clear I am not in this contest but, I had an idea and wanted to share it.
All the builds and builders are winners, having these great builds and sharing them is a win for all!

for sure all are great builds, and seriously, whatever if he do another round or not, I will be happy because at beginning, I was sure I will be in middle and lower because all of these builds are exceptional

@Xnine,
its your call

First off I agree with snef, it is good enough and either one of their rigs or any of them deserve to win. There are no losers here

but it is not over till the fat lady sings ............... thumb.gif

However if you decide to go this way the easy math of this would have it being a (6) rig run off

Being there is no way possible to discount the top two rigs getting repeat votes possibly leaving one of them short in a (3) rig run off if pitted head to head.

This would be an unfair eventuality to the rest of the field

the only fair out come would be to have the top three from both threads

But again, I do think a third thread is unnecessary

The truth here is that all these rigs are awesome bar none IMO
