New GPU?

Thread Starter
Hey there guys, I'm recently sold my 7950 to get a new graphics card come Black Friday time. At first, I wanted to get a GTX 760 (new), but now with the rebrands of AMD cards and a bunch of other factors; I have no idea what to get.

I am mainly looking for something in the sub $300 price range (probably $250-$320ish max) and I don't mind buying used either (so do keep that in consideration). Currently, I am looking at GTX 770 (or 680) or a 7970 GHz Edition...or something else? I want to be able to play CoD Ghosts at 120fps (120Hz monitor) constant all maxed out at 1080p. Battlefield 4 also sounds appealing (obviously not gonna be able to max it at 1080p with 120fps lol).

Thanks!

with a $300 price range I woulden't wait and try for next-gen cards as it's not going to help any.

If I were you, I'd get this. LINK

I cant say enough good things about these Gigabyte cards with this cooler. I'v experienced 7870 2gb and 7950 3gb (with 7970 board) with this cooler and they never go over 60c while remaining nearly silent with max overclock allowed in CCC on the 7950. If I could trade my reference 7970's for them I would. In my opinion this is the gold standard for heatsinks on a GPU without doing something custom.
