Painting tip: use a medium grade sandpaper on the plastic bits until that shiny finish is gone. That should make the paint stick a bit better, and it *definately* stops the bubbling on the first coat! Try this on what's already painted and pics with results. I, for one, am excited!

When going to the 2nd coat, follow the directions on the paint can in regards to drying time. If it says 24 hrs, wait the full amount. There are certain rules you can bend when it comes to painting, but curing time isn't one of them. teaching.gif

Good luck on the rest of the build!

Thanks for the advice! I'm going to play around with it a little bit today and see what I get! Also expect more "glamour shots" when the new parts arrive. They may end up NSFW because of how sexy that motherboard is! (jk).

I've been a bit busy but I do have a ton of pictures to upload! I'll upload them sometime today.

Here are some pictures of the (almost) finished product. It didn't quite turn out how I imagined it would, but if I polish it up a bit I can live with it.

Parts update (part 1)

Parts have been trickling in the past few days and I just had to take some photos of them. I have 4 more parts to acquire (which happen to be the most expensive ones), until I can start building. I'm on the lookout for deals on a 4GB GTX 770, or I may wait to see if the 780 receives a price drop with the 780TI coming out.
