Asus Maximus VI Hero

Has lot of features from the ROG line and the price is just under $200.

Ugh this sucks. Thanks all for your input. I still can't make up my mind. All of the usual choices for me like ASUS and such are just so ugly on this socket/chipset. I'm not a huge fan of the gold/yellow and just don't do the whole black and red thing. I guess I should stop worrying so much about aesthetics. Time to ponder on this some more.

No kidding. Besides the ROG, Asus has made the ugliest boards for several years now. Gold, are you serious?

I have been a huge fan of asus and up until this current chipset I would go asus above all but that color scheme alone is so ugly I can't buy it. The sniper board is the same way from gigabyte. Ugly color of green. From what I have read though it seems gigabyte and asus are the way to go on the 1150 socket for OC. The major guide on here is from a giga board.
