Converting H100i to sort of custom loop

Thread Starter
Hey, I have an H100i in my system right now, and it's great, but I was wondering if I could make it look a little bit better. The water block is very nice, as it changes colors and keeps my CPU cool.

I heard that it was possible to remove the original tubing, drain the fluid, and then put in new colored fluid or colored tubing. So does anyone have a guide or recommendations? It seems pretty straight forward but I obviously don't want to mess my system up.

Thanks.

You could have a read of this

I would not recommend it unless you know what you are doing and are prepared to possibly lose the H100.

Here is another guide.

I have a pretty good idea of what I'm doing, thanks for the guide.

Is there any way that I could do this without having to buy a separate reservoir?

The reservoir is there to make refilling the loop easier as well as removing air bubbles in the system once it's filled so I wouldn't suggest doing this mod without on one.
