Upgrade to FX-8320/50 from a 2500k ?

Hey,
Does it worth it ?

Considering that almost every game will be optimised for 8 core cpus, maybe I should sell my 2500k before its value falls ?
Plus amd motherboads are cheaper tongue.gif

That's a side grade at best. I wouldn't make the move. A 2500k is better 99% of the time

Upgrade your GPU instead, it is the bottleneck ATM, 2500k OCd is more than enough.

If a FX-6300 can bearly beat Phenom II x6 and a 2500k can easily beat a Phenom II x6. I would keep the 2500k. Upgrade something else like a SSD or video card. It will be a while before games will use all 8 cores. I know there is like 2 or 3 games can use 8 cores, but Intel still comes on top with a quad core over amd 8 cores.
