Though I am sure these would only get deployed in areas where the full intent is to kill everything...you know...where we used to just drop Marines. However, the days of Normandy beach assaults are over. So I don't really know if these much value other then sending them in a room first...but the SWORDS are probably better for that since they are small.
I loled to "kill everything" along with "where we used to drop marines"
Unfortunately non-combatants are the majority of the casualties in all urban warfare situations where the area wasn't evacuated by them.
Photographers are killed almost every week in such areas - even humans can easily be provoked by long lenses, and noone is willing to wait for the other party to fire first.
We have to understand that the collateral damage to non combatant human life is fully approved and rarely an issue.
As long as it is not "US citizen/US soldier" where eventually it might be found and reported publicly, no publicity backslash is really expected for killing civilians in a remote country where the public probably doesn't even roughly know to locate in the map. Who cares if it is children, or elders or what. Lets be honnest, most don't. As long as gas and China imports are cheap.
