I was searching around on taobao and saw a xfx 7770 double d at around $130, this makes me question if some of the stuff there is genuine :/
I'm not all that good at Chinese either.

I can't seem to find the l5639 chip on Intel's website, is this some kind of OEM chip?
No, singapore is just very overpriced. you didn't know?
Oh, it is. It was in a mass order for a boatload of Dell C1100 servers for big corporations like Facebook, Twitter, Google

Alas it's on CPU-World so it's a real chip but not something you could buy off the shelf in those days. So that makes my rig custom as well since it's a processor you couldn't grab off the shelf tongue.gif

SF has introduced a firmware and its performance seems pretty stable. I have not faced any problem on my intel drive after the firmware 5.0.4 update.

Intel uses it's own controllers... And with Intel SSD there haven't been issues, they are very reliable.

Yeah, I'm aware stuff in Singapore is overpriced, but I did not know that it is by that much :/
Should I get a second 7770 from taobao? Will the seasonic support it?

How does this chip perform against a 3770k? Just curious :3

Probably yeah ... if that friend of mine keeps me waiting for him to buy my 7850 and drops it at the last minute ... I'll kill him devilsmiley.gif
But it's been more than a year since he quoted you 100 bucks ... Who knows how old is it. See if he can drop the price since it's been A YEAR already lol

I think he'll kill me if I ask him to drop the price, like $100 is already not low enough :3

EDIT: speaking of second hand stuff, you happen to have any old components you are willing to sell to me or possibly give me?
pretty please? ;D
