thanks for the input guys. what 120mm fans do you guys recommend.

i was about to get the thunderblades because they have good reviews but they also say that they are extremely loud. would they be too much of an annoyance? anything a bit quiter but good performance? ty

Hadn't seen it mentioned but the AS5 will take 3-5 days to cure and the temp should drop at lease a few more degrees.
You could opt for the Silverstone 121 adjustable speed 120mm if noise is an issue. It's not even that loud at full speed... or the Antec Tri Cool 3 speed 120mm.

oo ya i was looking at the wrong ones....but the thunderblades are out of stock @ newegg......i was about to get the FM121 for the back and the blue thunderblade for the front (already had a blue led fan so i wanted it again)....

so im set on the silverstone in the back but now i dont know what blue fan to get in the front lol

I had the AC7 in my C2D and it significantly reduced temps from stock cooler (10 degree C drop)... it really isn't all that bad.

In fact, I had to remount the AC7 into another rig, and I used the "line" method as described on the AS5 website. It worked REALLY well.

As stated, the best thing is to get a decent fan for the back and a good intake.

yea maybe ill just get 2 fm121s...i guess a blue led ones not too big of a deal

thermaltake a2018 is apparently too loud
other choice is APEVIA CF12SL-UBL but i dunno if its any good do you guys know
