Ok this is a weird one, a few days ago my computer started to hang up at random times.
Sometime it wouldn't crash for more than a day, other time it would lock up on the windows log in screen.

First thing I did of course is to return to stock setting but that didn't fix the problem.
Then I scanned for malware but got nothing.
At this point I thought my PSU might be failing but since the crashes mostly happened when under very little load I tried to look for another culprit.

So this morning I took apart my computer, clean the dust filters ,reapplied thermal paste and put the whole thing back but that did not fix my problem.
So I decided to unplug my old refurbished Gateway LCD and bingo my computer now seems stable.

My question is what would cause a monitor to crash video drivers?
