Anyway, this board is pretty appealing to me at the moment and I got a quick question: Any of you using this board with a 3 way or 4 way SLI/Crossfire setup (GTX 780 (Ti), Titan (Black), 290(x) )?
And if so, do you run in any CPU bottlenecks while gaming?

Mine are the Asus dc2 780 cards in 3 way. Honestly at this level of mobo with the 4770k you can forget about bottlenecks at the cpu. The biggest issue now is memory bandwidth limitations of the gpu cards.

You will notice that nvidia's next two iterations on the map both focus on memory bandwidth and inter connect bandwidth.

Anybody here using 4 way gpu setup on this motherboard? I'm in the process of rebuilding my computer with gpu #4 but noticed that it will completely block the header pins for the front of the case. I managed to squeeze the power and reset but the pled and hdd leds have no chance of getting in. Has anybody run into the same issue and found a fix?

Out of curiosity (before I start my build with the MCP35X2) what is causing the pump to not sit horizontal?

Is the tubing kinked from the res to pump? Looks like it from the picture.

Hi All

I'm at my wits end. I recently built a system, and i'll start with the specs.

Cooler Master CM Storm Trooper | Asus Maximus VI Extreme | i5 4670K | 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz (4x4) | Crossfired Asus R9 280X DCU2 TOP (one v2) | Raidmax RX-1000AE | 128gb Transcend SSD720

There are 6 other HDD's installed and some cheapo dvd writer. Peripherals don't matter.

Windows 8.1 installed on the ssd, all games running from a different drive (7200rpm).

Now my problem is all games are running like BS. Battlefield 4 gets average 40fps. Cod MW2 gets average 60fps. Left 4 Dead 2 gets average 50fps. Cod Ghosts has just taken 20min to load the single player campaign on a fresh steam install and the fps on that is average 25!!!! Skyrim Average 25fps and Thief benchmark at 20fps. Basically, all games are struggling. They were all played on highest settings at 1920x1080.

The reason I'm posting on here is because after taking the entire rig to the place I bought the mobo from, the tech, after testing everything, transferred my entire rig, onto his own personal ASrock 6 Extreme mobo and suddenly thief was getting 282fps. they then sent the board to the suppliers, obviously thinking it was faulty, but when the replacement board arrived, it had the exact same issues.

Am I missing something here? they are now in contact with Asus themselves but I live in South Africa and that could take AGES. I have been without my rig for 2 and a half weeks now and i'm starting to go crazy.

Any help would basically save my sanity.

Thanx in advance.

that sucks man! I'm sorry that you're having troubles with your M6E. Do you know if you happen to be on the latest bios? Also, it wouldn't hurt to post your issue on the ROG forums as well.
